Responsible Drinking

During the Pilsner Fest, you can visit an "Info Stand" by each of the two music stages to:

• get information about the Pilsner Fest
• get a "beer ring", i.e. permit to consume beer (or any other alcoholic beverage). This is an ID wristband which makes it easier for the service staff to identify those young-looking visitors who have reached the legal drinking age.

As part of its operations Plzensky Prazdroj, a.s. promotes responsible drinking. This means that we try to prevent excessive and irresponsible drinking. Together with professional associations and NGOs we help promote responsible drinking in the Czech Republic and the EU.

At the Pilsner Fest you'll be able to find out more about the Promile INFO information service. This enables you to discover the current alcohol level in your blood and the time it will take for it to fall to zero. The information tents for Promile INFO (in the brewery courtyard) and BESIP (Namesti Republiky) also enable you to ascertain the current alcohol level in your blood using alcohol testers.
